Accessibility Statement
County Commissioners Association of Missouri (CCAM)
Last Updated: March 26, 2026
Our Commitment
The County Commissioners Association of Missouri (CCAM) is committed to ensuring that our website, https://www.mocommissioners.org/, is accessible to people with disabilities. We are actively working to improve the accessibility of our site and to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
Current Accessibility Status
Our website was reviewed by 54 Design Group, a WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility consultant based in Missouri, on March 26, 2026. This initial review was an automated audit only — a first phase of a comprehensive accessibility program. We are addressing the identified issues.
The following known issues were identified during the automated audit:
Insufficient color contrast: Several link colors and the footer text do not meet the required 4.5:1 contrast ratio for WCAG 2.1 AA. Users with low vision may have difficulty reading these elements.
Page structure: Certain page sections are not organized into accessible landmark regions, which may make navigation more difficult for screen reader users.
Remediation Commitment
We are committed to addressing the issues identified in the automated audit. All automated findings are scheduled for remediation by May 25, 2026.
Manual Testing
A second phase of testing — including keyboard navigation, NVDA screen reader, and manual color contrast verification — is scheduled for completion by April 25, 2026. This Accessibility Statement will be updated on that date to reflect the results of manual testing and any additional remediation commitments.

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you experience any barriers or have difficulty accessing any content, please contact us:
