CCAM Meetings:
The CCAM board of directors meets six times a year, customarily on the third Wednesday of the month in Jefferson City.
The entire CCAM membership meets biannually – one time during the Missouri Association of Counties’ fall annual conference and tradeshow and another time in February for their annual training session.
Training Session:
Under statutory law (Sec. 49.082.3, RSMo), “Two thousand dollars of the salary authorized in this section shall be payable to a commissioner only if he has completed at least twenty hours of classroom instruction each calendar year relating to the operations of the commissioner’s office when approved by a professional association of the county commissioners of Missouri unless exempted from the training by the professional association.” The February annual training session satisfies this statutory requirement.
Next year's training will be held Feb. 6-8, 2013, at the Capitol Plaza Hotel, Jefferson City
